Finding Rest When Your Body Hurts
Hi, I’m Charlene.
I created Sleep Without Pain because I know what it’s like to dread going to bed — not because you’re not tired, but because your body hurts too much to rest.
For years, I’ve lived with chronic pain in my back, neck, and legs. Pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night, leaves me tossing for hours, and makes even the softest bed feel like stone.
Then, after my partner passed away, sleep became even harder. Grief and pain together made rest feel impossible.
But over time, through a lot of trial and error, I discovered things that actually helped — supportive pillows, better bedding, gentle nighttime routines, helpful supplements, and simple tools that ease pain enough to finally fall asleep.
This blog was born from that experience: a space to share what truly helps when sleep and pain are part of your daily life.
